Syd dePalma

The singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer born in Rubí, with roots in Granada and
based in Barcelona, unveiled his distinctive musical vision in 2023 with the release of his debut album,
El Lugar de Arder (Raso).

The album was widely acclaimed by critics, appearing on year-end best-of lists in outlets such as Rockdelux and MondoSonoro, and being named Best Album of the Year by 20 Minutos.

The album maintains a clear connection to the sonic aesthetics of the 1990s, reinterpreted through a modernist and contemporary lens, with influences ranging from
The Cure and Echo & the Bunnymen to Elliott Smith, Nicolas Jaar, Alex G, Dean Blunt, Spiritualized, and
the sonic universe of David Lynch.

Saturns Drive

Saturns Drive is the project of Berlin based New Zealand producer and DJ Elfy. Taking influence from sci-fi and fantasy themes the sound sets its sights on arpy electronics, cosmic disco, and vampy Italo grooves with an occasional nod to exotica and early French electronic music. New album Next Stop Nebula is currently out through Alicia Carrera’s Lío Press Records and Sound Metaphors Distribution.

On stage the band uses drum machines, synthesizers, a flute, echo vocals and electric guitars. The live experience hopes to take the audience on a little space ship ride, through the cosmos of our imaginations and back, leaving behind the resonances of a starry sonic dream. They have played and toured Europe through a variety of festivals and concerts including Fusion Festival and Braille Satellite. New E.p coming out soon. Stay tuned!
