Emerging from small-town Campania and now rooted in Bologna, The Jackson Pollock is a fearless lo-fi garage-punk duo made up of Emily (drums & vocals) and Davide aka Reginald (guitar, electronics). Their sound—explosive, fuzzy, and full of improvisational grit—feels like six musicians playing at once, yet is born out of minimalist setup and maximalist energy.

Their name nods to the painter Jackson Pollock, mirroring his spontaneous, action-painting style in their sonic bursts and DIY ethos. With homemade fuzz pedals, cassette multitrack rigs, and self-made visuals, every element of the band is crafted with unapologetic authenticity.

They debuted with the fierce 2018 release Cherry Go, followed by the EP Not Yesterday, Nor Tomorrow in 2025. Their full-length Today Forever is set for release on 3 October 2025, coinciding with a European tour under Rookie Records / Indigo / The Orchard.
