8MM Live and Anomic Records present the debut Berlin show of KICK:

Sweet Noise, Post-Punk, New York No-Wave

KICK, from Brescia, are Chiara Amalia Bernardini (vocals, bass) and Nicola Mora (guitars, electric piano, synthesizer, sampler). The sound of the duo combines raw and enclosing elements in what the band themselves call "sweet noise", a style of their own that reconciles noise with soft atmospheres, without setting genre boundaries.

The Band just released their Album 'Light Figures' on Vinyl.

Light Figures is a record consisting of dualisms, of complementary opposites:
"This album aims to demonstrate the 'dents' of the soul, the 'dark side' that characterizes each of us and that we often try to repress because we are afraid of it. Communication with our dark side is necessary. We need to make friends with it, listen to it.... and have a glass of wine with it from time to time. Just like light and darkness, our sunny side and our dark side are closely connected and result in a common sense."
